  • Migrate legacy .NET Framework applications to cross-platform, cloud-native services that communicate asynchronously.
  • Architect and implement cloud-based systems that allow for modern development, but still interface with existing legacy systems that are the heartbeat of the company's operations.
  • Untangle complex business logic, that exists across large stored procedures and tightly-coupled applications, into testable self-contained services.
  • Help the team think outside the box and introduce them to new techniques and technologies while trying to avoid hype-cycles and shiny new tech that over-promises.

  I led the development of the company's employee time-tracking software using a .NET Framework WPF application with a SQL Server database. This was a culmination of development work that began as a passion project of creating tools that other engineers and I could use for calculations and efficiency.
